Pastor Diane is the Co- Founder, Senior Pastor, Prophetess, and Chaplain of Global Exchange Chrisitan Church, President and Co-Founder of Global Exchange Christian University and of G.A.A.Resources (Guidance, Advice, Advocacy, and Resources). Pastor Diane received her ministerial training from from Saint Thomas Moore in Decatur, GA. After qualifying for an additional two years of ministerial training, Pastor Diane was Ordained as a Minister of the Gospel June 9, 2017, by World Harvest Ministers Network (Dr. Lester Sumrall Teachings), Southbend, Indiana, U.S.A. Pastor Diane has obtained more than 200 hours of mediation training. She is now a family Mediator, Basic Mediator, Court Appointed Mediator and Christian Crisis Counselor. Pastor Diane is committed to teaching anger management, crisis intervention, love, parent-child and sibling relationships, strengthening marriages, and trauma relief issues that often causes family and or community violence.
Pastor Diane is an author, encourager, inspirational leader, radio host, senior pastor, teacher, certified family and court-appointed mediator. She received legal training from the Fulton County District Attorney's office as an intern. Pastor Diane obtained experience in the Juvenile court with Court TV Judge Glenda Hatchett. The Domestic Violence Unit, State, and Superior Court were also among training acquired by Pastor Diane. The lead players of Pastor Diane's mediation, conflict resolution, and negotiation training was administered by the U.S. Attorney General's Office Civil Rights Division, the Superior/Justice Court of Arizona, Harvard Law School's Program on Negotiation, Harvard University Extension School, and Atlanta's-John Marshall Law School. Pastor Diane's professional credentials are further supported by her Master of Liberal Arts (ALM) in General Management and a Master's Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Harvard University Extension School, Master of Divinity (MDiv.), Emory University Candler School of Theology, Juris Doctor (J.D.), Atlanta's John Marshall Law School, B. A. (BOG), and M. A. in Political Science from Governors State University. Pastor Diane completed courswork in the Ministry In Vicinity Program (MIV) at Harvard University Divinity School.
Pastor Diane has been on the frontline as a community organizer for over thirty years and has over forty years experience in social service, working with families, encouraging women and men. Providing and managing resources are the cornerstone of Pastor Diane's zeal for rebuilding, repairing and restoring broken families. Her passion to empower families emanates from her passion to serve God's people.
Awards
Various awards received by Pastor Diane Hopson are as follows: An award was bestowed upon Pastor Diane from Toastmasters International Communication Program. She was the first African American female to serve as Vice President of Education and President of the Harvard Toastmasters 2009 - 2012. Pastor Diane received an organizational Governor's Citation from Governor Deval L. Patrick for dedicated service in the Commonwealth in 2011; Received a Leadership award from Harvard University in 2010; Received one of Harvard's most prestigious award entitled the "Derek Bok Award" for Public Service in 2010 from Harvard University Extension School. In 1997 Pastor Diane received a Remarkable Leadership and Service Award from the Atlanta's John Marshall Law School after becoming the first African American to serve as Chancellor of the Sigma Delta Kappa Law Fraternity. Pastor Diane also collaborated with fraternity members to initiate a food drive feeding an estimated 250 families. During sixteen years plus teaching grades Head start through 12th grade and adults, Pastor Diane received many accolades from various school principles for her ability to communicate with the youth which commanded their positive discipline and behavior.
